If you were undergoing a ‘real life’ Gastric Band operation you would need support in guiding you through your weight-loss journey.
And my program is the same. It includes help and encouragement in all aspects of weight loss including practical guidance, emotional support, and a free online course with MP3s and other support materials.
Your contribution to the process
It’s important to realise that this program is not simply a passive process in which you will be hypnotised into somehow magically losing weight – of course everybody knows that this would be impossible.
A crucial part of the success of the course is your commitment to working with the program and following several weekly guidelines.
These include things such as: eating 3 regular meals each day, listening to a short ‘guided self-hypnosis’ recording every day, and implementing a regular exercise program.
I will give you full support to help motivate you in following these guidelines, but ultimately YOU are the only one who can actually do these things – nobody else can do them for you.
My Gastric Band Hypnosis Program is NOT for you if:
- You want a ‘quick fix’ and expect the weight to somehow fall off magically
- You expect somebody else to do all the work for you
- You don’t really want to change your eating habits
- You’re not prepared to find 30 minutes a day to complete the weekly tasks (don’t worry – they’re simple and fun!)
The importance of making TIME for the program
It is vital that you allocate sufficient time in your life, not only to attend weekly sessions, but to follow the previously mentioned guidelines that are an important part of the program.
This is not a short-term fix – it is a life-changing process which can transform your beliefs and habits around food and eating, so if you feel your life is too busy right now to enable you to fully commit to the program, then I would advise you to wait until the time is right for you.
What does it involve?
During these sessions we will discuss what challenges you’re facing in your eating habits (eg, portion sizes, cravings, emotional eating etc). I will then do some gentle relaxing hypnotherapy that is tailored especially for your needs.
In between each session, you will have MP3s and worksheets to work through yourself, to help you through the process, getting more clarity and increasing your motivation.
Some people like to see me weekly for their one-to-one sessions, while others prefer to space it out more. You can go through the process as quickly or slowly as you wish.
After the initial course, I recommend booking follow-up maintenance sessions, for added accountability and to keep you on the right path.
Sessions are held via Online Video Chat such as Skype/Zoom.
Telephone coaching is also an option; for instance some people find it very helpful to add on monthly telephone coaching after their course is finished, to maintain that element of accountability.
