EFT / Tapping
What is EFT?
EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as ‘tapping’) is a form of psychological acupressure which combines touch with a series of positive affirmations. EFT uses the same energy lines, or meridians, that have been used for thousands of years in Chinese medicine. EFT provides a form of release of negative thoughts and feelings around specific situations, and is a great tool for resolving anxiety, breaking thought patters, and changing behaviours.
How does EFT work?
The client, or practitioner, will tap gently on specific areas around the head and upper body, while focusing on specific situations and issues by repeating certain statements. This helps to shift energy, release blockages and restore balance.
Lisa Murphy combines EFT with hypnotherapy and other natural therapies to help clients with anxiety, stress, and a range of other issues.
Sessions are available face-to-face (in Glasgow) or via Skype / telephone.
